Syria makes a play in Moscow for long-range weapons

Syria's President Bashar al Assad has backed Russia's military action in Georgia.
In a visit to Moscow, Mr Assad made his comments on Russian television.
Mr Assad said his country understood Russia's action, and regarded it as a response to Georgian provocation.
The TV appearance was sure to please Mr Assad's hosts, who are considering an arms deal with Syria, including long-range missiles.

You see now people can get along it’s all in the attitude. It’s not like saying that you’re from Indiana. Where Anthrax gets stolen, people learn to have sex by watching the animals in the backyard, sex crimes get solved at a 13% rate, even the CIA look clean down under, and blow isn’t just for the nose it’s for fishing too.
In Indiana the best defence that you can have is to be illiterate. Or crazy. There is life out there and I will find it.
